Dolphin Rescue and Conservation at SeaWorld Orlando.

There is more to SeaWorld Orlando than just a theme park, conservation is taken very seriously here, rescue and care for many species of marine life is a regular event.

One recent touching story is of a baby dolphin spotted by a family who saw the dolphin in difficulties, they alerted the authorities, and SeaWorld moved into action. Six months later the family have been re-united with the Dolphin on a visit to SeaWorld.

You can read about this touching story on November 20th 2012 and find out more about the wonderful work that is carried out here and at the rest of the SeaWorld parks.

Environment and Global Conservation at SeaWorld.

SeaWorld and Entertainment are not just theme parks, they contribute to educating their guests on the welfare of the planet and how to conserve wildlife and the creatures of the oceans. They are hands on with rescuing and caring for animals, having various projects around the world. In their parks they are very aware of the amount of rubbish that guests generate each year and are attempting to eliminate much of this by introducing paper bags instead of plastic to help cut down on the waste that is building up our planet and seeping into the ocean endangering marine life. As leading conservationist this is an important commitment to take. Also in conjunction with The Coca-Cola Company, paper cups are being used that have 85 percent renewable material, another way of keeping down the accelerating waste problem.
