Legoland Florida was built on the area that was known as Cypress Gardens, a botanical garden that has attracted many visitors since 1936, now, part of the original gardens have been restored by Legoland for visitors to once again enjoy it’s beautiful surroundings, and see the historic Banyan tree that was planted from a seedling in 1939.

Swim with Beluga Whales at SeaWorld
At SeaWorld Orlando one of the many special attractions is to swim and interact with Beluga Whales in their own surroundings, accompanied by trainers, the guests are briefed, instructed, and suited in wet suits for an amazing experience.
You are advised to book tickets in advance for ‘The Beluga Interaction Program’ and it is recommended that you arrive early for preparation.

Kissimmee 5K Race for Healthy Hearts.
The City of Kissimmee is hosting its annual KISS-I-MEE 5K race for promoting heart health on February 11th 2012. The race begins at Toho Square near the Osceola County Courthouse and takes you through historic Kissimmee and past the picturesque Lake Tohopekaliga.

Christmas Trees at SeaWorld Orlando.
SeaWorld Orlando has an amazing display of fibre optic ‘Led’ Christmas trees. The trees sparkle in time to festive music, giving an atmosphere of wonder and delight.

Turtle released near Cocoa Beach Florida.
A Loggerhead Turtle was released back into the wild by the SeaWorld animal rescue team, near Cocoa Beach, read the article from The Disney Blog, with video.

Universal Orlando helping with Green Issues.
In an attempt to promote environmental awareness at Universal Orlando Florida, they have installed re-cycling bins for used park maps at the exit of each park and a bin to re-cycle poncho’s which some guests wish to discard after riding on ‘Dudley Do Rights Ripsaw Falls’
